We appreciate that during the time of arranging a funeral one of the most difficult decisions will be in relation to selecting a coffin or a casket. A number of factors can influence the decision these can include religious beliefs, yours or the person has passed away personal preferences, and financial implications.

Our aim is to provide you with as much information as you want around our coffin and casket ranges without influencing to spend more than necessary. We work hand-in-hand with some of the best manufacturers in the country ensuring our quality and standard remains at the highest level.

Our fully equipped showroom will provide families should they wish the opportunity to view the range.

Traditional Range

We offer a range of both veneer and solid wood coffin and caskets in both oak and mahogany. A catalogue can be taken away to give families the time to ensure that they reach the right decision. All of our coffins and caskets come fitted with elegant furnishings.

Eco-Friendly

Our range of eco-friendly coffins include Bamboo, Willow, Sea grass and Cardboard again a catalogue and displays are provided.

Bespoke Design

In the modern day when a funeral is becoming more personalised we work along side the country’s best colourful coffin manufacturer to provide families the opportunity to express their loved ones life in form a picture coffin.  There is a large catalogue with designs, although the coffin can be designed at the funeral home offering families the opportunity to include personal photos. A coffin of this nature can be viewed in our show room.

Floral Tributes

A floral tribute offers the bereaved the opportunity to express their emotions in a unique way often providing comfort to those who have be left. We offer help and advice on the choice and style of flowers available to you. We can arrange the order of these, or work with you chosen florist to ensure tributes arrive at the service in a pristine condition.

Donations

If donations are requested in lieu of flowers, Stephen and Philip Painter Independent Family Funeral Directors will accept and list donations on your behalf. After a short period of time we will forward them to the charity of your choice, and provide the family with a list of people who have donated.
